Rube Powell Archery Range is managed by the San Diego Archers archery club (https://sandiegoarchers.com/). It's a "roving" or "walking" range with 28 targets ranging from 80 yards to feet. The range is built throughout the canyon, with distances ranging from 20 feet to 80 yards and varying terrain elevations. The range is open to the public from sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year, for a $ 2-day use fee. 14 targets are open year-round, while the remaining targets are only open during tournaments, held twice each month on the 1st and 3rd weekends.
